GIMBAP : KOREAN SUSHI ROLL
Korean Gimbap is known for being comfort food. It is a Korean seaweed rice roll filled with a variety of delicious fillings.
Gim means dried sheets of seaweed, and Bap means rice. Gimbap is similar to Japanese sushi rolls, but incorporates cooked veggies, meats and egg rather than raw ingredients. Gimbap can be made vegetarian or vegan.
In this class, you will learn about basic ingredients of Gimbap, such as seaweed sheets, different kinds of rice and fillings, as well as techniques of how to wrap without failure. You will be able to make your own Gimbap guided step by step by chef Yun.
