ABOUT THE CLASS
Chicken is one of the most popular meats in Korean cuisine, and Dakgalbi (닭갈비) is one of Korea’s most beloved chicken dishes. Originating from Chuncheon, this spicy stir-fried chicken dish is cooked with a rich gochujang-based sauce, vegetables, and sometimes rice cakes, creating a bold and satisfying flavor.
In this workshop, participants will learn which cut of chicken provides the best texture and taste for Dakgalbi, as well as the secrets to making Gyeran Jjim (계란찜)—a fluffy, savory steamed egg dish that perfectly balances the spiciness of the chicken.
